National March for Palestine Saturday 11 October – assemble at 12 noon in Central London Location to be confirmed End the Genocide – End Starvation – Stop Arming Israel https://palestinecampaign.org/events/national-demonstration-for-palestine-11-october/ The necropolitics of hunger: Man-made famine and futurity of the Palestinian nation Source: CounterPunch Date: 26 September Lama Khouri is a member of the Palestine-Global Mental Health Network. Besides this essay, she has written two other insightful articles this year which can also be found on CounterPunch. In this powerful long read, Lama Khouri explores how hunger is deliberately weaponised in contexts of war and colonial domination, focusing on Palestine and Sudan. She shows how famine devastates young brains, leaving lasting scars on children’s development and wellbeing. The article traces how these assaults on childhood futures are part of wider projects of dispossession and erasure. Written with urgency and passion, it frames hunger as central to the politics of genocide and the struggle for Palestinian survival. https://www.counterpunch.org/2025/09/26/the-necropolitics-of-hunger-man-made-famine-and-futurity-of-the-palestinian-nation/ PSC response to US President Donald Trump’s ’20 point plan’ for Gaza Source: Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) Date: 30 September PSC condemns US President Donald Trump’s ‘20 point plan’ for Gaza, which should be understood as a continuation of Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people rather than a plan to end it […] https://palestinecampaign.org/psc-response-to-us-president-donald-trumps-20-point-plan-for-gaza-30th-september–2025/ Jeff Halper from ICAHD responds to the Trump’s Gaza plan Source: ICAHD (Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions) Date: 30 September Jeff Halper pleads for the world to understand what is really going on because this is a deal about money and control. It does not consider Palestine’s history nor human rights and the values that we should all hold dear. This deal, made between powerful states, was never presented to Hamas nor the Palestine Authority for input. Hamas has simply been presented with an ultimatum: return the hostages or know that Trump has given Israel approval to “finish the job” pursuing genocide in Gaza and in the West Bank. Jeff spells out the four political processes that are happening today and explains why we must take charge of the discussion with our re-framing to free Palestinians from settler colonialism enabling them to move on to genuine liberation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X4G7WBZJvk ICAHD UK Webinar – Ethnic Cleansing in the West Bank Source: Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions Date: 23 September (1 hour video of recent Webinar)Our two speakers spoke powerfully and left the audience speechless as they described what is happening within their communities in Area C of the West Bank. Israel seeks to annex this land as part of its settler colonial agenda to displace these indigenous Palestinian communities for the expansion of Israeli Jewish settlements. Since 7th October 2023, extreme right-wing settlers have been allowed to go into the Palestinian communities terrorising the residents. Area C is under full military control thus there are no authorities that the Palestinians can call upon to protect them. Both speakers spoke about the demolitions, ICAHD’s focus for mobilization. The report, Party to Genocide, assesses the Starmer administration’s record against a policy framework BPC set out for the incoming government in November 2024. The review found the British government has participated in genocide by providing widespread diplomatic and military support to Israel, while entrenching dehumanisation and structural racism against Palestinians in both Palestine and the UK. Two thirds of the workers had previous experience working in war zones. […] The study adds substantially to our understanding of the scale and nature of civilian suffering in conditions of war without restraint. It illuminates both the tasks facing medical relief and surgery in the acute phase, and the nature of the immense surgical and medical rehabilitation that will have to follow for survivors. It is likely to prove a landmark study. This letter was sent on July 3rd resulting in the Board producing its own statement that missed many of our crucial concerns. Source: Green Olive Collective Plant olive trees not settler forests! The initiative partners with the Burin Land and Farming Cooperative to plant Palestinian olive trees in place of settler forests, inviting global allies to host solidarity events, film screenings, and mutual-aid actions to replant destroyed orchards and strengthen farmers’ resilience. This as a direct counter to a Christian Zionist organisation that brings international volunteers to the West Bank to plant settler trees under a biblical mandate. Residents of Burin witness volunteers working with settlers under military protection to facilitate land seizure and the destruction of olive groves, presented as part of a wider Christian Zionist network that bolsters international support for the occupation. Source: International Solidarity Movement (ISM) Date: September 2025 The Zaytoun2025 campaign is a Palestinian initiative by a coalition of Palestinian organisations, groups and activists, organising grassroots Palestinian support for threatened communities and farmers during the harvest, mixing movement-building with mutual aid to defend our communities and defy apartheid Israel’s relentless efforts to expel us from our lands and confine us into ever-shrinking ghettos. We call on international activists and observers to join hands with Palestinian activists in nonviolent efforts to support and protect the harvest and strengthen Palestinian organising and mobilisation. https://palsolidarity.org/2025/08/support-palestinians-in-their-olive-harvest-and-in-resisting-israels-ethnic-cleansing/ FEATURED EVENTS You can see our full list of events on this page: https://ukpalmhn.com/events/ Global Sumud Flotilla 24/7 Livestream https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEN2bWFtpjU Real-time tracker of the Flotilla https://globalsumudflotilla.org/tracker/ Full video of the recent Together For Palestine concert in the OVO Arena Wembley Source: Rocket Media on YouTube Date: 17 September (date of the concert) Thank you to the person who found this link 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIovgMHVojs BOYCOTT, DIVESTMENT AND SANCTIONS (BDS) A founding aim of the UK-Palestine Mental Health Network is to “encourage our colleagues individually and collectively to consider their response to the Palestinian call for boycott, sanctions and divestment (BDS).” Stop Trade with Settlements Source: Oxfam Date:15 September A coalition of more than 80 humanitarian, development, human rights and faith-based organisations have launched a comprehensive joint report and international campaign calling for a ban on trade with illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory. Continued trade, including services and investments with illegal Israeli settlements is incompatible with international law. Governments that permit such trade are complicit in sustaining Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise and its unlawful and prolonged occupation. The new, joint report is called “Trading with Illegal Settlements: How Foreign States and Corporations Enable Israel’s Illegal Settlement Enterprise”It seems that there is not a single web page for this campaign but that each participating organisation promotes the campaign through its ownc hannels.
