Psychiatrists 4 Palestine: Membership & Working Groups
Please join us to promote mental health in Palestine and stand in solidarity with our Palestinian colleagues.

Who we are:
The Psychiatrists-4-Palestine group was set up in Apr 2025, under the umbrella of the UK Palestine Mental Health Network (UKPALMHN). The group aims to focus and magnify the work of UK-based psychiatrists in support of mental health in Palestine.

We aim to:
(a) Promote mental health in Palestine within the frameworks of medical ethics, social justice and Human Rights
(b) Provide a platform for solidarity and mutual support and learning with psychiatrists and mental health practitioners in Palestine

Join us:
We invite UK-based psychiatrists to join our group.
We invite mental health practitioners in Palestine, UK,  and internationally to connect with us, for solidarity and joint working.

How we work:
Our members are psychiatrists across all grades, specialties and regions, bringing lots of passion and a wealth of expertise in humanitarian mental health work.
Our work is structured around the 4 working groups below. Our work is overseen by a steering committee, and we meet regularly to review and develop our work.
