The French version of this article appeared in the January 2025 edition of Palestine Solidarité, the trimestrial magazine of the AFPS (Association France Palestine Solidarité) in a special “dossier” entitled “Palestine en Souffrance”. I am glad this piece is up on the website although I am sorry that the journal I wrote it for did not allow more words for this complex subject. But I will be interested to know how others think the theme could be developed

A moving and timely article. As you say the. children will. “interpret, respond and resist”, the children’s perspective. needs to be developed, we have to think. about. how they their understandings will develop as time goes on. I do find it hard to understand that the British Government has said nothing, having seen the the moving evidence from Nizam Mamode (November2024)to the IDC, of children in Gaza being deliberately shot and shot in the head day after day.
